We never get snow here in Monterey, CA so when I saw Lake Tahoe was getting a snowstorm I booked a room! The Hyatt at Incline Village has cute cottages right on the lake so we chose there. The drive was SCARY! Visibility was very low and the snow was heavy. When we finally arrived around 7 pm we grabbed a sandwich to split and crashed in front of the fire.

The view the next morning was incredible! The lake and snow-covered trees were magical. I am such a beach girl but those snow-covered trees ranked right up there with the waves. The cold not so much! So glad I packed my Amazon puffer and this Amazon Puffer. It was perfect in the snow.

What To Bring To Lake Tahoe In The Winter
Just about everything I packed was from my Winter capsule collection post.
Drive Up: I wore the Frame Denim jeans, Everlane Tee, Alo Clarity long-sleeve sweatshirt, and trainers.
Day 1: Leggings, sweater (old Cabi sweater), t-shirt (old Richer Poorer), boots, puffer, hat (old and came in a sub box; I don’t remember which one), boots by Sorel. (at night– nightshirt by Lusome c/o, Mersea wrap c/o, socks by Little Spoon)
Day 2: jeans, sweater, puffer, boots
Drive Home: leggings, T-shirt, sweater, trainers
For skincare, I packed my Dennis Gross steamer and AU Natural Skinfood Discovery set c/o, plus the Grace & Stella face mist, Benefits rollerball mascara c/o, and Pat McGrath foundation c/o.

The trip was a blast and we had so much fun playing in the snow. Lake Tahoe really puts on a show in the Winter.
