The Perfect Bite

I am obsessed with these perfect bite size appetizers.  Christmas, Super Bowl, and even Valentine’s Day, these strawberry, basil and brie bites are delicious.

What you need:

Baguette

Strawberries

Basil

Honey

Brie

olive oil

To Do:

Cut baguette into thin slices.  Place on a cookie sheet and drizzle with olive oil.  Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.  Once all baguette slices are toasted place them in a single layer on a serving tray.  Drizzle honey on all baguette toasts.  Slice brie and strawberries and layer them onto baguette toasts.— Brie first.  Drizzle again with honey and sprinkle with slices of basil.  I used herb scissors to chop basil.  These are super easy to make and always a crowd pleaser.  Simply put the perfect bite!

The first time I made it I didn’t do basil because I hate basil. But, the second time I threw it in and the flavor was so good. I may have just acquired a taste for it.

Yes, they can! But if you put it all in a bowl and ditch the bread you can call it diet food… right?
