There is just something special about having a dog in the home. Louis joined our family a few years ago. It was a crazy random accident that he came to live with my sister and me. He needed a home and we just knew it had to be with us! When I finished school he came home with me to live in Monterey. It was love at first sight for me– not so much for Louis!
It took us several training schools and a lot of patience for Louis to come around to us. He came from a sketchy background and is still shy of new people. It took us months of training before he would accept cuddles or attention. Now I can’t keep him out of my lap! Our bond is so strong today because of all that work together in the beginning. I can’t imagine our family without our LouLou dog! Which is one of the many reasons I’m so excited about Amazon Prime’s new show…The Pack!
The Pack
The bond between dog and family is so special, and that’s why I am excited to tell you about a new show, The Pack, on Amazon Prime Video! The show premiers on November 20th and this weekend is a Packed 3-day event! We can’t wait to watch Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn and her canine co-host Lucy, host the show. The show isn’t just good for the family it is helping dogs along the way.
To win the monetary prize for themselves and their charity, the teams will have to depend on their understanding of one another’s strengths and weaknesses and prove to have the strongest bond in the pack. In each locale, the human and dog duos will face fun and exciting challenges, designed in concert with a team of accredited veterinarians and certified dog experts that also accompany the group on their exciting journey, making sure it is a positive experience for everyone. At stake is a life-changing $750,000 for the winning duo and their charity, $500,000 to the winners plus an additional $250,000 prize amount for the animal charity of their choice. Additionally, The Pack donated $250,000 during filming to multiple charities and animal rescue organizations in each country, helping to pay it forward to dogs and those who love them around the world.
