Real-life inspiration for the Olive Green hue that is everywhere this winter. Plus a fun snack recipe and how I make the best dirty martini recipe.
Yay for the weekend! It is a big one for us– Olivia is getting baptized! I’ll share pictures as soon as we get them but I am really excited. I can not believe she is 8 months already. Time really does go by so fast when they are little like this. For the edit today I was really feeling the olive green color that keeps popping up everywhere!

Green skincare is all over and this elemis oil/night cream combo is my FAVE of the bunch. Pair the seaweed detox soak with your dry January, Whole 30, Keto, or cleanse for a deeper detox. I am all about a good olive utility coat and the new goop one is my DREAM right now. The Cabi one is a great less expensive option. I also have several Babor coats and you really can’t go wrong with them.
Growing up my Uncle had a dirty martini every night while we watched Survivor or some other reality show. So naturally, I know how to make the classic drink. He NEVER tweaked it but I like to add a chili or garlic stuffed olive every now and then.
Best Dirty Martini Recipe:
Combine 2 1/2 ounce vodka, 1/2 ounce vermouth, and a splash of olive juice in a large glass filled with ice. Give it a good but gentle stir. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with two olives.
