Summer Style
Summer in Monterey are always colder than people expect. So, when it comes to summer style, dresses here must include sleeves or tons of layers. I like to go with sleeves and a loose fit. I am obsessed with this Jenni Kayne dress I bought it as soon as it was released. The style is comfy and works around the house, running errands or as a beach coverup. These days I am pairing it with these new lace-up plims from Rothy’s, a cute basket bag (this one from Claire V is waitlisted but this one from Doen is available!) Throw on a cute necklace–this one from Gorjana has interchangeable charms like this cute California flag and a great pair of sunglasses. Don’t forget a strong SPF and lip balm.
