Classic Skin Care
When I was about 12 I went to live with my grandma and my auntie. I remember the day I moved in I had nothing. So they took me shopping! My love of shopping and skin care totally comes from my grandma. We went to all my favorite stores and picked out clothes, makeup, and a school bag. At the end of the day, my grandma told me we had to get face wash.
When we got home I remember feeling so grown up with my Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit scrub, moisturizer, and SPF. I went to the bathroom and washed my face right away. Grandma was OBSESSED with SPF and I know it is why my skin looks so good now. That pink grapefruit scrub carried me into high school (where I always had clear skin), my twenties (where my skin glow was always a topic of conversation in my spa) and now emergency clear ups in my 30’s!
Like the other day, when I fell asleep with my makeup on! I really have no excuse except being pregnant I just seem to fall asleep as soon as I sit down. Immediately when I woke up I knew I needed a good detox for my pores. I dug through my whole vanity and chose a few products. The Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes as a pre-cleanse and then the grapefruit scrub as a deep cleanse, scrub and treatment. I didn’t break out over the next few days so I am calling it a success! Now I keep the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing towelettes next to my bed just in case!
A few days later we had to do some household shopping and I grabbed another of each at RiteAid. Plus, I found a cool new mask. The Neutrogena light therapy mask! I know I talk about LED light therapy a lot. It has changed my skin and worked wonders on my dog’s allergies plus spinal issues. The technology is something I totally believe in.
I was SHOCKED to discover that Neutrogena has a blue light acne mask and spot treatment wand that is totally affordable. Of course, I grabbed it right away and came home to use it. Sadly, after reading the directions I realized they don’t recommend it for pregnant women. SO I used it on my sister! She refused to let me take her picture but I will tell you her skin was GLOWING after. I actually had to keep her from taking it home with her. The mask was way easier to use than the ones I have in my spa. Just put the mask on over clean skin and flip the switch. #LifeChanged My sister’s birthday is coming up and I think I know what to get her!

I would live to try that light mask. It looks super cool.
I have seen that mask in ads lately and would love to try it. I’m especially interested after hearing about your sisters experience.
I would love to try the Neutrogena Sunscreen, Dry-Touch.
The title of this post is so spot on! The pink grapefruit foaming scrub is a classic and I have so many friends that swear by it!
Aw I wish Neutrogena skincare was available here in Austria as well! I heard so many great things about it 🙂
