In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, CFDA and Fashion Targets Breast Cancer® is partnering with bloggers on a campaign to raise awareness and donations from October 17th until October 23rd.  The Promotion is conducted in partnership with POPSUGAR Inc. and CFDA Foundation in support of the CFDA’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative.  I am so honored to be a part of this campaign.  Starting today and running until the 23rd, I will be donating 10% of all of my affiliate link earnings to the campaign. In addition, POPSUGAR Inc. will be separately making a $5,000 donation and that it will additionally match all participating ShopStyle Collective bloggers donations $1 for $1, in excess of $5,000, up to a maximum of $5,000, for a total POPSUGAR Inc. maximum donation of $10,000.

Breast Cancer has touched my family and I am passionate about stamping out this disease that touches so many women.  Two friends of mine lost their mother to breast cancer and I watched as one of my mentors fought hard to beat breast cancer.  We as a society can do more to find a cure.  Fashion’s partnership with philanthropy is a unique way to do that.

CFDA was founded in 1962 by publicist Eleanor Lambert,it is a not-for-profit trade association of over 450 prominent American fashion and accessory designers.  Several of my favorite designers are CFDA members like Diane Von Furstenberg and Rebecca Minkoff!  The association works hard to promote new and upcoming designers and causes that they believe in.  Check out more designers and the Popsugar  Campaign Page on ShopStyle.
