Last week I had the opportunity to try a post c section workout P.Volve class in their Los Angeles studio! I’ve wanted to try it for a year now when I saw another mom on Instagram talk about how it helped her build back her muscles post C-Section. When Bumo called and said they were hosting a class for moms I was so excited to see it during the dates I was in town! It was so nice to be out in a class setting and with other moms.
P.Volve Post C Section Workout
Before the shutdown I regularly attended pilates but since quarantine happened I haven’t really worked out at all. The P.Volve method was very much like pilates or barre but with a lot of cardio, too. The equipment was similar to pieces on a reformer so I was comfortable with most of it. I found it to be an awesome full-body workout.
Taking a class in the studio was a great way for me to jump-start an at-home program. The trainer helped with modifications and ways to push into the workout for maximum results. There was a lot of core work, stabilization and lower ab work that I feel will help in the long run of my C-section recovery. As soon as I got home I bought a package during their 4th of July sale to get started from my garage. Now, I just need to clean out space!
I’m so excited I finally got to try P.volve AND loved it. Pop over to their site for more information and a BIG thanks to Bumo for hosting the event.
