Five Favorite Sheet Masks and How to Use them. Plus who should use them.

Sheet masks…

Sheet masks are all the rage right now but which one is right for your skin?  These are my five favorites currently.   Let’s go over when, why, and how I use them.

First up the DOUBLE DARE OMG! 2 in 1 kit.  I use this mask when my skin feels congested and depleted of nutrients.  It is perfect for post-travel and sweaty hikes.  Step 1 detoxes and deep cleans.  It has a unique bubbling sensation and only takes 3-minutes to use.  Step 2 takes a bit longer (about 20 minutes) and packs super nutrients into the skin.  After my skin is glowing and feels super clean.  Pro tip:  I like to use a gentle scrub prior to using this set.

Next up TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL Egg Cream Mask I use this mask when my skin is looking dull or feels dry.  Egg whites and coconut extract help brighten, hydrate, and nourish the skin.  I like this mask mid-flight or as a mid-week pick-me-up.  Pro-Tip:  I like to use this mask after a mini peel like the juice beauty peel.

Purlisse Blue Lotus + Seaweed Mask OK, this is one of my favorite sheet masks ever.  It does a bit of everything brighten, hydrates, soothes, nourishes, and balances.  I use it once a week to keep my skin happy.  Pro Tip:  After removal, I use a jade roller to help the serum absorb before applying a moisturizer.   OHHH and use discount code DORAN20! at checkout for 20% off all items at Purlisse!

MaskerAide Detox Diva I use this mask when I want my pores to look smaller.  It clears out pores so they can go back to their original size.  I leave it on for at least 25 minutes to get a good detox.  Pro Tip:  Follow up with a glycolic or salicylic toner to really help clear out pores.

Bamboo Charcoal Clarifying Mask I use this mask when I am breaking out or expecting to.  The charcoal helps dry up oil and the bamboo helps to clarify the skin.  Pro tip: After rubbing in the remaining serum spot treat blemishes to help speed up the recovery process.
