Move in day arrived!  I checked into my house at 13 Juxon St. Oxford a beautiful old house built in the 1800s.  The interior left a lot to be desired for me.  The house was sparsely furnished and the heating and hot water stopped working several times for days at a time. ***Thank you capitalism for blowdry bars.***  I lived in the Jericho neighborhood and it was PERFECTION.  There was an artsy and hip vibe with plenty of great pubs, cafes and shops.  My favorite was the Jericho Cafe… get the lemon pasta… it is delish!
On a side note: I have never lived with flat mates and I hope never to experience it again.  Drunk and no accountability is never a good look.  Though I did have one flatmate that was awesome and I enjoyed many of the conversations we had.

Our cardboard fire… and a tv from the 80’s.  I spent the first two days scrubbing the place down.
