The Four BEST Maternity Leggings

I thought I would mix it up today and share a #BumpDate plus my four favorite maternity leggings.  We just hit week 30 and our girl is about 3lbs!  I am starting to finally feel a bit better and don’t get sick as much as before but still have some crummy days.  No real cravings but fresh, cold fruit is always a winner around here right now!  We still haven’t started her nursery.  I am hoping to get in there this weekend and get at least the first coat of paint up.  And, no she still doesn’t have a name.  Girl names are so hard to decide on.

Leggings and jeans have been my go-to staples so far and I am excited to share my four favorites.  I tried so many and some would just cut in or put too much pressure on my stomach.  These four are my favorite and here is why.

  1. Storq This is an actual maternity brand.  Their stuff is all minimalistic, chic, comfortable, and can be worn after the baby arrives.  I got the leggings and the frame sweater.  I LIVE in these.  They can be worn with the high waistband or on days when that just isn’t comfy I fold them down under my belly.  The quality is super nice and thick and the legs are long so if you are tall they will still work.  I am only 5’2″ so I scrunch the legs up.  A few items I will probably grab as Spring approaches are the Easy Dress, and T-Shirt Dress.  They both look super cute!  Grab your regular size.  Mine is a medium.
  2. Cabi  I have a real up-down relationship with this brand and their clothes but these leggings are so comfy.  The waistband isn’t too tight so it doesn’t cut into the belly.  The cute mini skirt on the M’leggings gives it the ability to be more than just athleisure.  I wear a small normally with this brand but I sized up to a medium for a little more comfort and to get me to the last two months of pregnancy.  The gray color is also fun.  I wish they had more colors available navy blue or a darker gray would be great.  These have to be hand washed or they totally fall apart after about 5 washes, so if you are not willing to invest in that commitment then skip to a different legging or keep these as your “dress-up leggings” ?.   I love how cute they are so I just handwash them. I paired the M’leggings with this Kiki sweater and Notch Tee.
  3. Universal Standard I partnered with Universal Standard twice last year and the second time had to send the clothes back because they were just too big.  It sucked because I LOVE their styles, the quality meets my picky standards and the colors are right up my alley.  On my hunt last month for leggings I thought I would order a pair and see if they fit now.  THEY DID!  The waistband is snug but not uncomfortable and I wear them either all the way up and over my belly or folded down.  I ordered a size XS it is still a smidge big but they really are my comfiest leggings.  I also have several of their T-Shirts that have got me through this pregnancy also; again the material is just so nice and luxurious.   I want their curvy cardi and twirl wrap dress.
  4. Leading Lady c/o –  I was gifted these leggings by the brand and this super cute maternity bra— not a phrase one expects.  The price point is awesome, the quality is really nice and the fit is perfect.  I like that these are a bit lighter.  We are starting to get warm weather here in Monterey and they were nice for my evening walks with Louis.  I grabbed a size medium.  The bra is also a favorite and it turns into a nursing bra!  The maternity jeggings also look super cute.  Use code: LLSOCIAL15
