Another childhood favorite!  The Monterey Wharf.  When I was little the Monterey Wharf was magical.  I was very close to my grandparents growing up and they took us everywhere.  The wharf was a special treat.  First we would stop at McDonald and get a happy meal then my grandpa would take us to the Wharf.  We always saved our fries so we could feed them to the squirrels.  Then he would give us a few quarters to give to this little dancing monkey that I was terrified of.  Last we would buy a tray of sardines and feed the sea lions!  It was so much fun.

Now all of that is gone.  There are rarely any sea lions off the decks and the has monkey long since retired.  The Wharf is mainly restaurants and fishing tours but the buildings are still beautiful and walking brings back so many childhood memories.

Today’s look is a simple and uber comfy Madewell dress + sweater.  I have honestly thrown this sweater on at least once every day this week.

Do you have a favorite childhood memory?

PS. I used the Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body Cream and it gave my legs a stunning glow!

Wow – haven’t thought of this place in a long time. I went to this restuarant for what was supposed to be great seafood, and it was good, but the french fries wee so good I still think of them often when someone set a place of fries in front of me.

The shirt dress is lovely! I love that it is in black and white which would be easy to pair with a plain colored sweater. Prices are reasonable enough for a cool outfit like that!
