A look back at the lessons I learned in 2015.
2015 was a rough year for me, but also full of a few important lessons. I lost my Grandmother and my favorite Uncle. Both played a huge part in raising me. I relied heavily on their advice and found it difficult not to have the ability to call them whenever I wanted. It was weird to go through the year feeling very alone. But, the feeling gave me a chance to really work on other relationships in my life. So lesson number 1: look for the good when going through the bad.
I traveled a lot this year and I loved it. Nothing perks me up like an adventure. Lesson number 2: explore more.
Last year was really a year of self-indulgence. I went to the spa a lot, bought myself some pretty new handbags and took a job that was all about me. Lesson number 3: no matter what I matter It’s hard to find time for myself when I am constantly taking care of other people and things. It was really nice to just worry about me.
Overall 2015 was difficult, but rewarding at the same time. I can’t wait to see what 2016 brings.
