One of my favorite sets from 2021 comes from Necessaire. A beautiful and minimalist body care line popular on Instagram. Here are my thoughts.
The Body Wash by Necessaire
I love the body wash! The eucalyptus scent is perfection and smells just like a spa steam room. The texture is gorgeous with a unique gel to oil (marula, cacay, and meadowfoam) that lathers up perfectly. *note it lathers not foams. The formula is plant based and Necessaire uses plant based surfactants to get that lather. A little goes a long way. I found the formula hydrating and it didn’t irritate my skin or dry out. – Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) cleanses, nourishes, and balances and makes this just a bit more than a cleanser. Necessaire Body Care: Exfoliator
A foaming body scrub that smooths and softens skin with glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acids, plus pumice and bamboo charcoal. This was an interesting texture. I found it easy to use with minimal mess. I hate slipping around tint the shower trying to get scrub out of a tube and onto my body. This scrub eliminated that. Necessaire Body Care: Body Lotion
A fast absorbing, non-greasy, non-pilling, just the right consistency body lotion. Fragrance free so it didn’t interfere with my perfume. I like that it felt luxurious! Like a treat for my skin. I used it at night before bed and didn’t end up stuck to the sheets but did wake up with soft supple skin. This is a must have for ski trips, beach prep or just as a daily indulgence.
