It is safe to say retinol is one of my very favorite skincare ingredients. Retinol improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles better than any other ingredient out there in my opinion. I’ve used it since my early twenties to help keep my skin looking firmer. It is the one ingredient I never leave out of my skincare routine. Over the past few months, I’ve studied the benefits of using serums that combine both retinol and bakuchiol– a vegan alternative to retinol. Studies show the two work even better when paired together.

Who Should Use Retinol and How?
I recommend using this retinol serum in the evenings only, on fresh cleaned but fully dry skin. Wait about 10 minutes before applying other products over it. You only need a dropper full and I took it down my neck. But, if you find your neck is sensitive just skip it and keep it on the face. Avoid the eye area completely. I use all of my normal skincare products with this serum (with the exception of Vitamin C–I only use that in the morning) with no issues.
