Gleamin Vitamin C Mask A Dark Spot Brightener
Since beauty school (a hundred years ago) I’ve incorporated clay masks into my morning skincare routine. When I was in my early twenties my skin broke out like crazy and one of the traveling lecturers recommended I use a clay mask every other morning. Clay helps draw out impurities and tighten the appearance of pores like nothing else! Each type of clay helps with different skin concerns. With my dry, prone to breakouts and scarring skin type–I like clay that is anti-inflammatory, non-drying, and dark spot brightener.
Gleaming Vitamin C Clay Mask is a game-changer. The Australian white clay is combined with Aloe Vera and Turmeric making it an amazing dark spot remover. White clay is great for keeping the pores clear of debris. Aloe and Tumeric are both anti-inflammatory to the skin so I find that the mask helps with my breakouts, redness, and creating an even tone to my skin. I like that this mask does not dry my skin out but does keep my breakouts in check.

For the past week, I’ve used the Gleamin Vitamin C Clay mask in the mornings. I like to apply it and let the mask set while I get Olivia ready in the morning. I recommend keeping the mask on for 10 minutes. I know the mask is done when it turns from bright yellow to mustard and is dry to the touch. Since starting this routine I’ve noticed my breakouts have improved but the most noticeable improvement is how even my skin looks! After a breakout, my skin stays red for weeks but the Gleamin mask has helped speed that process up. The skin discoloration lasted only a few days with my last breakout!

Who Should Use A Clay Mask
The Gleamin Vitamin C mask is great for anyone that breaks out, has post inflammatory discoloration from breakouts, and just about any skin type. I would stay away if pregnant or at least chat about it with your health professional. The mask is made from natural ingredients and cruelty-free. The main ingredients are white clay– a natural exfoliator, Tumeric– an anti-inflammatory and complexion booster, Vitamin C– a skin brightener, and powerful anti-oxidant, and aloe vera–an anti-inflammatory and hydration booster. It smells fresh and like– well, clay but I don’t really notice the smell when it is on. The texture is thick and creamy. I don’t recommend getting into bed with the mask on or using your good towels. Clay can stain.
Gleamin Vitamin C Clay mask retails for $39.99 and comes with the clay mask plus a reusable applicator brush. If you are dry, suffer from more than occasional breakouts or post-breakout inflammation, I’m sure you’ll love it. I recommend using this mask in the morning to brighten skin or as a spot treatment for spots or the night before and an event you want your skin to glow at. IT IMPROVES TEXTURE, FADES DARK SPOTS AND GIVES YOU A VISIBLY EVEN SKIN TONE, NATURALLY.
