#BlogHer16

Tonight’s facial five was done at my hotel room in LA.  I am currently at the BlogHer16 Conference for woman bloggers.  I am so impressed by all of the amazing women I have met here!  From Mommy Bloggers to Black Girl Bloggers and Travel Bloggers I have met women from every part of the country all with unique viewpoints.  I am so inspired right now.  If you are a blogger or thinking about starting a blog check out BlogHer.  All next week I will share my experience.  For tonight let’s get to the facial.

I knew I would be traveling so I decided to grab a handful of press samples and do a unique and soothing facial.  All products were sent to me for review, but all opinions are my own.

Facial Five on the Road

Step 1: Cleanse with Malin+Goetz Grapefruit Cleanser— I used this with my Clarisonic Mia and it foamed up beautifully.  Plus, it took off all my makeup!  This is a traditional foamy cleanser but it did not leave my skin tight or squeaky.  I really liked it. This is a brand I would like to discover more of.  They have some really cool looking products.

Step 2: Apply a dot of the Shiseido eye concentrate around the eye area.

Step 3: I used about half of this travel sized Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Mask.  Apply it all over the face, neck and decollate.  I used a thicker coat because my skin was dry and red from my two days of travel.  I left it on for 15 minutes and removed with a COLD towel.

Step 4: Apply a light coat of the Jurlique Nutri-Define serum.  This smells great and really helps brighten and perk up the skin.   A little goes a long way.  Apply to the face, neck and decollate.

Step 5: Apply another dot of the Shishido eye concentrate around the eye area.

Step 6: This is a Vine Vera Resveratrol Moisture Cream.  It says day cream but since there is no SPF I used it at night.  I applied a thicker coat to my face, neck and decollate.

I like this protocol for post travel and post-stress filled day.  It was hydrating, nourishing and calming.  Sorry, the pictures aren’t the greatest my hotel room has the WORST lighting.  I have some fun stuff planned for next week
