This month Birchbox teamed up with Cupcakes and Cashmere to curate a collection of Emily’s favorites.

The cost is $10 {use code BB50OFF for 50% off your first month!}

This wasn’t my favorite in terms of selection of products. Boxes are curated by the guest blogger/stylist and then geared towards your Birchbox profile.

I received:

Marcelle Hydra-C 24H Energizing Hydrating Gel– {RV $3.39} This reminds me of the Clinique hydra gel.  The texture is very similar.  Unfortunately, it broke me out.

Harvey Prince Sea Salt Texturizing Mist– {RV $1.00} I love sea salt sprays so this was a win for me.  I am disappointed the sample is so small; it was really just a one time use on my thick, long hair.

Pixi Beauty Fairy Dust in copper sheen – {RV $10} This was full size!! I loved the color and will use this often.

Prescriptives Super Line Preventor Xtreme– {RV $24.70) I don’t have wrinkles yet, except one that appears after a long night on the town, so this is a waste for me.  But, I am impressed by the value of the sample.

Tocca Eau de Parfum, Isabel– { RV $2.00} I hate when they include fragrance.  It just isn’t something I am looking to buy anytime soon.  I am a devout fan of Jo Malone and never really like these samples.

Overall, this wasn’t my favorite box.  The samples just didn’t feel customized to my needs/wants/tastes.  Nothing really excited me or made me want to head over to Birchbox and buy anything new.  Which sucks because this month Cupcakes and Cashmere is releasing a new book that comes free with a $55 purchase at Birchbox!  Most of these things will show up in a future giveaway or on the trade boards.

Retail Value of this box came out to $41.09 a GREAT deal for a $10 sample box.
