Back To School Outfits:
I can’t believe Summer is over already. It went by so fast this year with a new baby and all that comes with being a new Mom. I love that our new neighborhood has a school bus that picks the kids up right by our house. I feel like I am stuck in a bubble from the 80s/90s. It is so cute to watch all the little ones head off for their first day. I can’t wait until Olivia is old enough to head off to school in her first-day outfit. But, I also want to hang on to these fun and adorable baby moments for as long as I can!
My assistant has the CUTEST daughter who is just about ready to head out to her first day of school. When this dress and jacket came in the mail she was so excited to try it on. She kept saying, ” Ready to go to school!” I saw this cute dress by Victoria Road over on the Barney’s website and adore how cute the whole collection is. I got the dress and jacket for Olivia; I like to collect cute clothes for her even if she won’t fit into them for a bit but we let Lyric try it out for a little back to school outfits inspiration.
Lyric has the brightest personality and loves to dress up so I knew her first-day look had to match. She really likes bright colors and patterns. The Victoria Road dress and jacket are perfect for back to school outfits. I am pretty sure she wants to wear it to picture day too! The denim jacket gives her school uniform the perfect personal touch.
I look forward to Olivia wearing the dress! We just love the pattern and back tie detail. My assistant and I grew up together. Since four of us all had babies in the last few years she suggested we start a Sisterhood of Traveling Baby Clothes. I thought it was a cute idea. So Olivia let Lyric borrow her outfit and Lyric will send it back to Olivia when it no longer fits her!
