When I started planning Olivia’s baby girl nursery I knew I wanted an enchanted forest theme and a lot of books. I loved to read growing up and one of my favorites was Snow White. Plus our new house is in a national monument and state park. We have a ton of trees, an owl in the backyard, and lots of wildlife. Her window looks out over all of the trees and I wanted to bring that into her room.
I loved these pink walls– I did the same shade in my skincare studio in Monterey. From there a friend found the crib for us and I bought the bookshelves. Everything else just kind of came over time. I am still waiting on one more piece of art to show up and her room will be complete.
We spend the mornings in her room getting dressed and reading a book. I put her in her crib so she can get used to it. I take all the blankets, bumpers and toys out just to be on the safe side. At night we usually read a book before her night time feeding in her room.
I am so happy with how her room turned out and love spending time in there with Olivia.
