Nothing makes me happier than when the air starts turning crisp. We don’t get snow or anything here on the ocean but it does get pretty chilly. With the change of season there really needs to be a big change in a skincare routine. Winter months are typically dryer and colder wreaking havoc on the skin. The easiest changes in a winter skincare routine are face creams. Here are my favorites right now for cold and dry winter skin.

Rich and powerful
the Rich Cream by Augustinus Bader is perfect this time of year. The rich and creamy texture holds on all day without pilling or feeling greasy. Ideal for normal to dry skin, more mature skin types, and colder, drier climates. I like that it has so many great benefits built in like TFC8® which supports cellular renewal and guides key ingredients to skin’s cells.

Ultra Facial Cream with Squalane
Squalene is a super ingredient to hold moisture in the skin. The texture is light and silky but it really holds up well all day. I do like to layer this one over serums for extra boost. It works gorgeous with a face oil over it or SPF or make or all three! Never rolls or pills or moves. Just an absolute gorgeous cream at a great price. Paraben-free, fragrance-free, mineral oil-free, dye-free, and TEA-free.

Firming Night Cream
A firming and nourishing night cream with bakuchiol and Spirulina Maxima. Bakuchiol is a rejuvenating alternative to Retinol and spiraling maxima is a great free-radical that helps nourish, it also includes amino acids, essential minerals, and antioxidants to help repair skin.

Soothing and Calming
For those that get red irritated skin in the winter this cica cream is great! Super hydrating and instantly calming. Here is another great alternative. A little goes a long way. Apply it using a press application and allow it time to settle in before applying SPF or makeup.
