During my great Oxford adventure I had the opportunity to visit Windsor and Windsor Castle. Now my fashion/shopping goal of this trip was to come home with the super cute jacket that the Duchess of Cambridge is always photographed in. After spending hours looking at tabloid pics online I knew it was the waxed defense coat by Barbour. So my hunt began.
I started out at the castle. Um where do I sign up to rent a room? I loved every piece of furniture and LOVED Queen Mary’s doll house. From there I headed over to the Duchess of Cambridge pub for lunch. It was the real DOC’s birthday! I had a yummy cup of soup, fresh bread, a bacon sandwich and a yummy pear cider.
After lunch I popped into the shops across the road for my Barbour hunt. Sad to say I didn’t find the jacket in Windsor (I found it the next day in Oxford) but I did come across Jo Malone and Molton Brown. Two of my favorite brands and perfect gifts for family back home. I really loved the Eucalyptus at Molton Brown. And a BIG thank you to the ladies at Jo Malone for creating a new and just-for-me scent that will remind of my trip for years to come. PLUS these perfect and beautiful Mint Velvet boots!
