Tour Our Wellness Suite At The Andaz Hotel Scottsdale
A few weekends ago I boarded a plane for the second time since the shutdown and went on a trip to Arizona! It was so weird to be around so many people and away from Olivia but I really needed a little down time. The Andaz hotel and spa in Scottsdale was the perfect weekend getaway.
The hotel was gorgeous. I wish we had more time to spend at the pool and little garden alcoves we found walking around. A friend and I checked in to a wellness suite. We are both a bit weird and like our own space but this room was perfect. It had a HUGE living area with a full bath and a pullout couch plus a large bedroom and bathroom. It was perfect for us.
We did laugh a bit at all the workout equipment in the room. One of the cabana suites probably would have been more our vibe but the room was really great. See a full tour over on my FB Reels.

The Andaz Palo Verde Spa Scottsdale
I booked both of us the Desert Ritual A lavish desert journey focused on your beauty and wellbeing from head to toe. Fusing our signature jojoba hair and scalp treatment with a prickly pear facial massage, it offers the best of the desert’s bounty. A custom made body scrub and hydrating jojoba butter mask restores the vitality and glow of your complexion, as warm aromatic compresses relax your senses. 120-minute session
One of the coolest things about our treatment were the custom blended massage cream! See the full video here. We used the Andaz Palo Verde Spa apothecary app to find our perfect blend. I went with a jasmine, orange and lime blend based off my numerology. My friend’s was totally different. We also went with custom oil blends infused with crystals to take home.

The treatment was lovely. I was a little disappointed that it was a “dry” scrub meaning no vichey table or shower between the scrub and massage. The treatment was full body and I really enjoyed the scalp massage and facial massage. Overall, it was a great treatment for beginners or someone that just wants to relax. My friend and I both wished it included a bit more massage.
The therapists and front desk were all lovely. They were all really knowledgeable about the aromatherapy and apothecary bar. My therapist did a great intake and not only listened to my wishes but honored them! I hate having my feet touched in a treatment.
The facilities were pretty but a bit basic. We spent most of our time in the hot tub. By this point we were both starving and I was desperately trying to flag down an attendant to get some snacks. We had no luck. Overall, the spa was lovely but again a bit basic for me. I would have liked a cold plunge and some steam.

Where To Eat In Scottsdale, AZ
We had lunch at Postino. I loved it. A Bloody Mary, charcuterie board and a bruschetta spread were the perfect treat after shopping all day. The service was super friendly and fast.

We also ate at the restaurant. We had dinner there the first night and breakfast the next day. Both meals were fabulous and again great service. I recommend the chips+guac+salsa spread for a nibble and the s’mores cake was delicious. Plus, they made amazing Aperol Spritzes!

Scottsdale was a blast. They have AMAZING shopping and the Andaz was perfect all around. I would go back with my husband and pre-schooler. A great spot for a girlfriends trip or family trip!
