After the fight and Food&Wine festival, we were ready for a quiet day. I tried to get a day at the spa but I couldn’t find one that was open or had a spot on a Sunday.
So we did brunch, a movie and a super fun dinner instead.
We did brunch on the patio outside our room so we could enjoy the weather and view.
Louis had scrambled eggs!

After another lounge, we left Louis with a dogsitter and headed out to a movie.
We saw Avengers: Age of Ultron at Cinepolis in Del Mar Heights. It was AMAZING!!!! We did a 21+ theater so no screaming kids AND a full bar menu. The chairs full reclined it kinda reminded me of a first class seat on a nice airplane like Virgin Atlantic.
The food menu was actually really great. We had a cheese plate, edamame, and popcorn. So much fun. The movie wasn’t my fave Avengers movie, but I liked it and loved the theater.

I am obsessed with this place now. The food was TDF and my waiter was a doll. My husband still can’t eat much and he was awesome about accommodating us.
The Melting Pot is a fondue resturant and super fun. I did the 4 course. With the Quattro Formaggio as a starter, a ceasar salad for course #2, fillet mignon and ravioli for course #3 and the classic chocolate for dessert. It was delicious! I regret not getting the mojo broth for course #3 everyone raved about it. So next time that is on my must try list.
